PCOS Diet & Fat Loss

The PCOS diet (polycystic ovary syndrome) is for more than just rapid weight loss. It helps treat and control PCOS, helping also to regulate insulin levels and keep blood sugar within normal limits.


The PCOS diet proscribes high glycemic index foods, dairy and soy products. It is rich in fruits and green leafy vegetables. Pasture fed meat and healthy fats are allowed. Though at first glance, the PCOS diet can appear formidable and hard to follow, it becomes easier when you get into it.

Though touted as a cure for polycystic ovary syndrome, the PCOS diet can only reverse the impact of insulin resistance and does not alter the course of the ovarian disorder at all.
